What an adventure this year has been since i decided to build this blog and I feel the journey has just begun.
I purchased this domain on the 3rd October 2011 and set out on a mission to battle bad SEO companies. I have written this post a little early as I will be getting married on the 29th September and will be on my honeymoon.
This ethical battle hasn’t been the easiest I have had to work hard and do a lot of hours to get the results my customers have deserved for trusting me. At the end of last year I was given the challenge of getting a client onto the first page of Google for “hot tubs” which is a challenge I successful completed. During my time at my first Internet Marketing Company I managed to achieve some amazing results (even if it was under a different umbrella).
Achievements at my first online company
Here is a list of my top 5 achievements I am quite proud of during my time at my first online marketing company:
- Keyword “forklift Training” position 1 of www.google.co.uk
- Keyword “Spray booths and Spray booth” position 1 of www.google.co.uk
- Keyword “Hot Tubs” Page 1 of Google maybe the hardest keyword I have come across
- Keyword “Electric Towel Rails” page 1 of Google
- Keyword “Handyman Services” page 1 of Google
In March of 2012 I left this company due to the fact that i believe they lost there foundations and lost a bit of the ethical background they had created (mainly internally not in the work). shortly after my decision to leave I was given the opportunity to lead my on SEO team at a new growing company.
Achievements as an SEO Department manager
Even tho I still a lot of the SEO work myself this new role present more challenges then I expected. Here are my top 5 achievements
- Built up the SEO team to do things ethical and changed the SEO team to a full internet Marketing team. Which resulted in tripling monthly income to the company.
- Got the company to the top of Google for “SEO Manchester“
- Proved myself as a successful leader and built one of the best teams in the market and young.
- Keyword “weight” on Google.ie Position 2 of page 1
- Built a new internet marketing method that has proven results
At the start of September I was presented with the opportunity to become director and founder of a new ethical company built on my morals, I have teamed up with 3 other directors who share the same morals as myself.
This new company plans on being the best and most ethical brand for the online development world and IMQ is going to be a big part of this.
My wedding is only days away and I am not scared YET!!
