The Voice

Voice recognition is increasing in popularity and we’re learning of more devices and technological brands incorporating voice recognition into their products and services. Apple is famously known for adding voice recognition into their devices and other mobile phone companies are following suit. Internet Marketing Questions predicts that voice recognition will be the voice of SEO in the future.

SEO is marked on quality web content, keywords, correct optimisation of individual website pages and of course, doing things by Google’s books. The volume of keyword researches are based on how many times a user types it into the search engines to find the services or products required. But what about voice recognition? How is this measured when a person physically says the keyword phrase out loud into their device? How does this affect your rankings? Well as it stands, it doesn’t; it hasn’t been picked on yet.

Images can be optimised to help with your rankings, so why hasn’t voice recognition joined the bandwagon? We live in a world where we rely on our phones and the internet to get through each day, and we are all being judged on our behaviour and actions online.

The online world is built on constant changes and updates, it’s a platform that can’t be predicted. Internet Marketing Questions has a few questions of our own to ask, one being Will voice recognition be part of Google’s next algorithm changes, and will SEO professionals like ourselves have to accommodate this into our online campaigns? Who knows what the future might hold, but it’s something that we have already considered.
